The Sunday After My Birthday

Monique planned a Diva Lunch with all my close girls the Sunday after my birthday. Emily came to pick me up, and we met all the girls at Toros. Most of the girls ordered this awesome stir fry that came in a cast iron bowl in a wooden square bowl (upon Emily's recommendation) and it looked so good! I had a couple rolls of sushi but had a little bit of Ashley and Emily's bowl. Oh man, it was delicious. After the girls sang Happy Birthday to me, we all got to share some green tea ice cream with chocolate syrup on top. It was super yummy! I was really happy all the girls came!

That same night, I had a birthday dinner with my Mom and Dad. We went to Ching Yen, which is a place I used to go to all the time when I was a kid. I missed their food so much. I think it's some of the best Chinese food in town. We had a great time! My dad was crackin' jokes as always, showing us some of his videos he created on his iPhone. I got money from my parents for my birthday, including 4-2 dollar bills (which, since I was a kid, have been collecting them all my life. $2 bills are my lucky charms). We ordered wanton soup, me and Andrew ordered the orange chicken, my parents ordered some noodle dish and some egg foo young (which was pretty damn good!). After dinner, Suzanne, the owner, brought out a flower cut out of radishes and stuck a candle in it and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me. It was a very lovely Birthday dinner, a nice way to end my birthday weekend!
