Illustration Friday - "Silent"
When I was a little kid, there was a point in time where all I would watch was Peter Pan. I loved to chase and play with my shadow. From finger monsters to airplanes soaring across the concrete, I felt like shadows were instant representations of my imagination. They were like loyal ghostly beings, constantly changing and mimicking, instantly morphing into whatever you wanted them to be, whether it be scary or friendly. When I was a little kid, sometimes my shadow was a silent playmate to me. A companion who never talked back and who was easily forgotten. A friend who is present at the crack of dawn and a presence you never missed or noticed when it went away.
love this!
