Our Puppies Have Dog Park Withdrawals

January, Friday the thirteenth, me all the girls and their significant others went to Dagny's for beer and to hang out. It was nice hanging with everyone! Plus Kandi and Alex brought their daughter, Layla, who has such an infectious smile! She's such a cutie pattooti!

Saturday morning, I went to the my Tatang's dentist to pick up his new dentures.

Got home and had coffee with Andrew. We watched some of Kitchen Nightmares. I played around with PhotoFunia.

We were planning to take the dogs to the park that day. It's crazy how they know that they're going somewhere fun. As soon as Andrew got into the shower to get ready, Ptolemy and Shawn kept whining, running round in circles, then wait by the door, then run around again, pointing their noses up at their leashes, then trying to force me to make eye contact with them. They knew what our plans were and they just couldn't wait. When Andrew was ready, he asked them, "You guys ready to go to the PARK?!" When they hear the words PARK, WALK or TREAT they go nuts. So on our way to the park we went. Well, we made a stop at Java Detour because Andrew likes having a beverage in his hand while walking around the park.

As soon as we got to the park, Shawn somehow escaped out of the car and just took off running. I probably looked like a complete idiot sprinting after her. She was so terrible!

It was embarassing......

I finally herded her into the dog park entrance and they both went wild. Ptolemy kept making friends left and right. Shawn had the same effect but she didn't know what to do. She thought all these dogs were trying to attack her. She kept yelping like she was being raped. But the other dogs just wanted to have fun and run around with her. At one point she had a pack of 4 or 5 pups running with her and she ran down the hill so fast that she tripped over herself and tumbled over and over like a car accident. She just wanted to be left alone...our poor old lady...

I tried my best to take a picture of Shawn and Ptolemy in action. But it was really hard! It was funny though because as soon as Shawn was still, I was like, "Yeah! Finally got ya!" And I finally got a photo of her...taking a shit! The effect on this photo was really fitting too, hahah...like it was a special moment.

Andrew ran and ran with the pups. We saw some really cute pups and really funny ones too. Most of the dogs were well behaved. Except for this cranky ole black dog trying to pick a fight with Ptolemy. That bully kept snapping at Ptolemy and wouldn't leave him alone. As soon as I saw Ptolemy's snarl and showing teeth, I grabbed him and carried him to the other side of the park. Where the hell was that stupid dog's owner??? I wanted to kick that damn dog out of the park. When we left, that same dog attacked another dog. We could hear the fight clearly at the other side of the park and I was so glad we left when we did.

We took the dogs back and then we went to Floyd's to get Andrew a new belt. He bought a belt from Supply Sargent a week ago and it's already almost in 2 pieces. They didn't have any belts he liked, so he bought new pants instead.

Then Andrew took me to my Tatang's to give him his dentures. He was watching the UFC fight. Andrew liked that.

Then we went to Singha Thai. It was really yummy. I usually order a noodle dish, but this time, for the first time, I ordered Yellow Chicken Curry and it was delicious.

The owner's son put up some new paintings. They are so beautiful. I'm a great admirer of his work. He's so talented!

We then went to the mall to spend my Christmas gift, a GameStop gift card from Priscilla and Arturo. I got Zelda Skyward Sword, which is such an AMAZING game so far! We also went to JC Penney and Work World. The mall was so empty so it was a pleasure walking around.

When we got home, we watched more Kitchen Nightmares and drank more coffee. Then we watched Moneyball. I only watched a fourth of it because I had to get up early for church. Andrew said it was really good.

Next morning I went to 8:30am mass with my Mom and Bill. After, we went to 24th St. Cafe for some breakfast. My Mom's breakfast (eggs benedict) looked awesome and she said it was very yummy.

I ordered a turkey, avocado and tomato omelette with hash browns and biscuits and gravy.
It was heavenly!



My Mom played Family Feud on her phone almost the whole time, haha.

We then went to visit my Tatang. He was still sleeping. He has oral surgery tomorrow. He's going to get 15 teeth surgically removed. Eek!

When Bill dropped me at home, I snuck back into bed and Ptolemy came to cuddle with me.

Sunday morning cuddling with my boys.

I wish Shawn was in the picture but she doesn't like being on the bed.

Andrew got up. I stayed in bed and took a 2 hour nap.

Andrew got ready and we went to Milt's.









I had a burger.



Andrew had chicken fried steak.



And ordered an apple dumpling for dessert.



And we both went into food comas.

Went home to clean an do laundry. Ghetto and Julia came over and they watched True Grit while I did some drawer organization and talked to Monique about our upcoming trip. Then we all watched Total Recall.

I'm super excited about our trip to Harry Potter World! I cannot believe it's just right around the corner! I gotta start figuring out what I'm going to bring. I'm notorious for over-packing and I definitely don't want to do that! Aaahhhh!!!
