I Fart You!

I had a wonderful Valentine's Day! We both had to work that day so it was pretty regular, with sweet surprises throughout. We didn't really talk about doing anything for that day and decided to make it up to each other during the weekend.

But I wanted to get him something...So, on my lunch break I went to Sweet B's and got all of Andrew's favorite candy and found a cute little red bucket with a giraffe on it to put everything in. I also made him a card at work with a hand written love letter inside. I couldn't wait to bring Andrew some Joseph's and surprise him with the little goodies I got him.

Work was pretty busy that day. It was going by so fast. Around 2:30pm Debbie says, "You have a phone call...Andrew!" So I answered the phone and he said, "Hey, do me a favor..." and I said, "What?" and he said, "Come to the door..." And I got confused for a little bit and asked again, "WHAT?!" and he said, "Come to the door." So I said, skeptically, "Okaaaayyyy......"

Haha...for some reason I thought there was going to be clown or some candy gram singing person at the door. So, I just tried to peak over my desk and see what was at the door and there was no one there. No car in the parking lot either. I walked up to go outside and there was Andrew with a huge bouquet of beautiful flowers, coffee from Java Detour and cupcakes from Frosting Inc! I was in shock, I felt so flushed and I was just overwhelmed with how thoughtful he was that! He even parked across the street behind the tree so that I couldn't even get a hint!

I just couldn't believe he did all this. That he prepared for and fit this special moment into his super busy schedule. His card and pretty much everything got me all teary eyed. The flowers were amazing, the cupcakes were delicious. It was funny because he was like, "I got you cupcakes, but I had to eat half of one because it was Red Velvet." Haha, I told him to eat the whole thing but he said it was all for me. So sweet!

(He had already ate most of the candy before this picture was taken) He sho loves his candies!

He couldn't stay long because he had to go back to the office but I didn't want him to leave. I felt so many happy emotions: really flustered, teary, loved, excited, humbled and super lucky. I didn't expect ANYTHING and he just did waaaay too much. The flowers were gorgeous. He ordered them from Amanda at House of Flowers and she did such an amazing job! All the flowers are beautiful and I'm loving that I get to watch some of them go into bloom.

As soon as I got home I called Joseph's and the line was busy for 15 minutes! I finally got through and ordered him some beef tortalini and a pint of minestrone soup. Joseph's was packed when I picked up the food. When I got to the shop, I gave him his card and laid out his food. Poor guy couldn't even get a chance to sit down and eat, but he managed eventually to get some Joseph's in his belly. I'm glad he really liked my card and said what I wrote him was beautiful and funny =)

Then I left and did some errands. I went to visit my Mom and brought her some tuna pasta salad I made and I visited my Tatang for a little bit. Then I went to target to get a few things. I stopped by the house to get my computer to take with me so that I could work on a few blog posts while Andrew closed up shop.
