boom-boom: Weekend Shenanigans

Two weekends ago, Andrew took me to Color Me Mine. This was a first time experience for the both of us. It was super fun and relaxing. I forgot how therapeutic painting is for me, I gotta start doing it again. It was really cute watching Andrew paint his gnome. I would have never thought we'd doing arts and crafts together, haha. It turned out pretty cute!

Rain, rain, rain. Last week was pretty rainy. I pretty much stayed in and watched Big Bang Theory, Reality Bites and Hell's Kitchen. Puppy cuddling was inescapable. Ptolemy stays right by my side wherever I go whenever it rains super hard. The sound of the rain scares the crap out of him. His body automatically goes into this cowardly position and he never leaves my side. Poor thing...

I drank way too much coffee and ate too much soup.

Monique let me borrow Hunger Games and I nose dived in. There are parts in the book where I have to stop reading and tell myself to breathe. We watched the movie on Tuesday. We LOVED it.

Finally got to take our friend Ronnie out for his birthday. Akira's was yummy. LOTS of food. We got him a gun mug and gun ice trays. Then he got us all a frozen bananas at CC Brown's. I used to love going in there when I was a kid. It was sad to see it so empty.

My bangs got long. I was tired of getting them in my mouth and chewing on them when I ate. So, I got my hair trimmed randomly by Boy Alex's sister. Twas a funny story! Small world!

We picked up our goodies from Color Me Mine on Saturday. Andrew's gnome turned out so cute. We placed him amongst all my toys. He put it next to my Hello Kitty vinyl figurine and he explained to me that he's the gnome and I was Hello Keekee. My mug turned out like caca after it was fired. The colors I used looked way brighter on the color wall. I probably didn't put enough layers of paint. It's pretty dull looking. Although it is a mug, I am contemplating on using it as a planter.
