Playing Catch-up

Hi blog! Holy shit it's been a while since I've updated this thing with some memories. Well, as the year comes to a close, it's kind of hard to believe all the major events that have transpired in my life. It's been a wild ride, 2013!

Instead of playing catch up with a bunch of new posts, I'm just going to wrap up the year with some stuff we did here and there throughout the year.

So I'll start off with the big one...

I married my best friend! October 26th to be exact. It was a private ceremony with just our parents in our backyard and then we had a little reception later that day. I still need to get our photos from my sister-in-law.

August 20th, Andrew took me to go see Smackdown at Rabobank. He was on cloud nine that day. I got to admit, it was quite entertaining. Definitely much funner than watching it on TV. I am kind of hooked on the Total Divas show so I was pretty excited to see the Funkadactyls. AJ Lee was there too and it was so funny hearing little kids chant "AJ's CRAZ-AY!" After the show, we went to the Marriott with Matt and his friends to see if there were any wrestlers just hanging out. I guess they saw the Great Khali and he didn't want to be social because his foot hurt...or whatever.

We made a couple of trips to CALM just so Andrew can go feed the goats. He has so much fun doing it and it makes me laugh just watching him. The goats' reactions to him were priceless. He made one buddy with a goat (in the pic right below), who was bullying all the rest of the goats to get food from Andrew. He'd climb onto the fence and then after Andrew would feed him, he'd slam his hoove on the fence and demand more. Reminded me of Thor when he slams his goblet down on the diner floor and asks for "ANOTHER!" It was so funny.

September 14th, we attended a 90's themed birthday celebrating Scott turning the big 3-0 and me turning 31 years old (we're birthday twins, both born on the 17th). They had us play a 90's sitcom game and we got to vote best costume. I wish I had a picture of Amanda, she was dressed up as Left Eye and she looked awesome! It was a super fun night filled with 90's jams, dancing and karaoke. Girl Alex made the most amazing cakes too! She made me a Fresh Prince of Bel Air themed cake and made Scott a Save by the Bell themed cake. So sweet!

During the weekend of October 4th, my girls threw me a bachelorette party in Vegas. We had such a blast! We stayed at the Luxor, got to ride in a limo to One Oak where we danced and drank the night away. When we got back to the hotel, I taught Tiffany how to play craps and I won some money! The table we played at was a good and super fun table too. I was a pretty good roller that night...making everyone some money, so that was fun! The next day, we just walked around, rode the New York New York roller coaster (I have to steal the most funniest pic from Priscilla of her face from the ride. It's hilarious), and we planned to check out LAX in our hotel later that night but they wanted us to pay to get in...booo! But it was fun, we hung out in the casino. Lots of interesting people started conversations with the girls. Especially one, Colin, from Austrailia or New Zealand. He was a hoot! Alex got Tiffany to sing our national anthem to him (which eventually we all started singing) after Colin sang us his national anthem at the top of his lungs. Hilarious...He eventually got escorted out of the hotel haha.

That's all I can remember, so far, haha. Lot's of fun times! I just cannot believe how fast this year flew by. It's like I blinked and now we're all ready to ring in the New Year!
