Since my last week of getting Fridays off was approaching, I vowed to take a mini trip to LA to that I could buy a bookshelf from IKEA. So Momo joined me on this mini excursion and we happily got some good eats, checked out some art and splurged on some vinyl toys.
So we didn't make it to IKEA but we did hit the Beverly Center first and we were really surprised that they did not have a food court. Who knew a mall could be too high end and snooty for a food court! Bah! We were starving trying to find some kind of place to eat so we just gave up and I suggested getting back in the car and going to Milk since it was just down the street. So...we get lost getting back to the car. We thought we came back through the same entrance because everything looked the same but NOPE! At least I got the floor right. We walked round and round until my panic button communicated with my car. Man that was freaky and we probably weren't thinking very well either because we only had one thing on our mind....FOOD!
DA SAMMIES ARE BOMB
AND SO ARE THE COOKIES!
We scarfed up our meal outside and people watched which was really nice. It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too busy so it was a perfect time to sit out side for lunch. When we went back inside for cookies, I had to grab a few for Andrew because I wouldn't feel right haha. He's the one with the sweets craving in this relationship. I tend to favor savory over sweet. I'd rather have a corn dog over a cupcake any day. We had to eat the snowcap cookies inside because the lady says it's really good but it's a mess to eat.
Then we checked out Free People/Urban Outfitters by Amoeba on Hollywood Blvd and we headed to La Luz de Jesus Gallery + Wacko and saw some cool art and bough some cool shit.
This Cinderella one was funny because it's true. I think she's the worst Disney villain ever created, well, I'll add Ursula to that list so she won't feel so lonely. Couple of horrible B's, I tell ya. I think Evil Stepmother scared me the most when I was young because she could exist easily in the real world. I was scared of Ursula only at the end when she became mega-Ursula and got extra psycho on everyone. I think someone should create a back story movie on why they became so cruel. Kinda what they did for Maleficent (I love this movie, btw). That would be neat.
Momo and the wall of Funko toys I wanted to show her because she started collecting them. She really wanted Baby Grute from Guardians of the Galaxy but the lady said they haven't gotten any
in yet.
We also bought a Best Friends Forever blind box and hopefully we'll keep buying them and have the whole collection one day. I also bought this little guy because his face is irresistible.
And then we went home! It was a short but super fun trip!

He he he he we gotta keep collecting them for sure...vinyl toys are great! Fun trip for sure need to go again 😃
