Da Fair 9.27.14

I'm not a big fan of the fair. Last year was the first time I went in 15 years. So I'm kinda on a roll.

He had to admire this wrestling collection of course.

We went to the petting zoo right away and that was probably the highlight of the whole time.

It was so great watching Andrew being bombarded with goats.

Beautiful fawns, they were my favorite.

And baby kangaroos...

This guy wasn't feeling well...poor thing.

I loved this little baby goat. I wanted to put him in my backpack and kidnap him...get it? Haha

"Ugh, that llama has STANK BREAF!!!!" - Andrew

The llama straight up ate the whole ice cream cone and when Andrew went to pet his head, the llama was all, "DON'T TOUCH ME!" and whipped his neck back every time Andrew tried to stick out his hand to pet him. Diva llama.

This was another baby goat I attempted to kidnap...haha...

This was a really stinky part and there was cow dung everywhere so you had to be
careful where to step.

Jumbo corndog time! We also got a brick of curly fries. We should have got the tower of chili fries but I was too hungry to think. Boo got a plate of BBQ. I can't believe how expensive fair food is! Geez!

This was the coolest stunt dog show! We could have watched this show all day! All their stunt dogs are rescues so that was so cool. All the work they put into their cause made the show even more enjoyable.

Andrew attempted to win us a gold fish.

No dice. But it was fun watching him!

And then we hit up the photo booths because we didn't get to try them last year.

And it took forever for them to come out. I thought ours broke but eventually it arrived. I like how slimy it feels when it comes out. Takes me back to the fun days in college when I took black and white photography and would spend many nights/mornings in the dark room.

I dunno what they put in that fair food but when we got home, we took a 4 hour nap. And that was our day at the fair!

And now I leave you with a cool video of Christmas Tree Worms:

    1. I loved them and they were so friendly!! Omg if you would have seen the chili fries tower you would have passed out. It was fries as big as (and shaped like) a 2 layer cake, topped with chili and soaked with nacho cheese sauce! It looked so good and I was sad I didn't get to eat it!
