That woman toy was Andrew's favorite, haha.
After hanging out and just looking around at everything, Andrew wanted coffee so we drove down Melrose to Urth Cafe and we ordered a couple of Spanish lattes. He also got us a very delicious tira misu cake that was a little too rich for me. But it was nice hanging outside on their patio and people watching while Andrew took my phone hostage.
On our way back to the car, we wanted to look around the Pacific Design Center where we found this piece of art on their lawn (later, I found out it's a Miranda July piece). I absolutely enjoy this building, especially the landscaping, haha. I wish I could have rolling mini hills in my front yard! I reaaaally wanted to lie down and let my body roll up and down them, but dangit...there was a security guard just chillin' on the patio.
Behind the PDC, was a MOCA building and in front of that was a pretty awesome fountain.
We took our time walking back to the car, strolling hand in hand and sometimes with my hand perched around his arm. We strolled around the buildings, absorbing the lights, smells and sounds. I love times like these... It's times like these, when we can just be.
It was a super fun trip. I can't wait for the next one!
