Exploring Long Beach Pt. 2 - Aquarium of the Pacific

Sunday, we took another trip to Long Beach. On our first LB adventure we found an Aquarium (Aquarium of the Pacific) and since we didn't have enough time, we promised each other the next time we venture to Long Beach, we're coming here! So we did! It was a really great experience. We got to pet sting rays, sharks, jellyfish (moon jellies), tide pool animals. Plus we got to hang out with Lorikeets. I just love the whole aquarium experience. I fell into trances just watching all the different kinds of jellyfish (jellyfish and seahorses are my favorite). We were amazed with the different species of seahorses they had. We spent a good couple hours here (it's kind of small but loaded with awesome exhibits). I can't wait to go back!

After, we got super hungry so I yelped for some Mexican Food. We found a place called Taqueria El Guarachon. The food was delicious. You definitely will get your moneys worth here.

With our stomach's full, we went back to 4th Street and checked out what Fingerprints had. They have a ton of cool books, but a lot of them are super pricey.

Andrew reaaaally wanted coffee before our trek back home so I found a place that roasted their own coffee beans called Polly's on 2nd Street but by the time we got there, it was closed. The area on where we were at on 2nd Street just had loads of cool stuff! I was so overwhelmed with everything I forgot to take pictures, haha! We were stoked to find this area (I have no idea what the area was called but I think it's around Belmont Shores). We ended up walking around trying to find coffee and we ended up passing a yummy looking cupcake shop called Frosted. But first thing's first, we were on a mission for coffee. Thank goodness we found a Coffee Bean not too far away. So back to the cupcake shop we go and I couldn't decide on the flavors. Andrew wanted to get three, but when it was his turn to order, he ended up getting us five: caramel toffee, vanilla vanilla, vanilla chocolate, and nutella chocolate. They were delicious and moist, we'll definitely come back here!
