Saturday, November 26th was our last day in SD with our family. How sad! It was also Mckenzis birthday! That morning the girls got to open their birthday gifts. I got them both princess pajamas.
Then it was time to sing Happy Birthday to Kenzi. We got her a mini cake from Von's.
Before we left, they wanted to take us to this burger joint they've been meaning to try. It was in Kensington and it was pretty much the most fancy burger joint I've ever been too. It was called the Burger Lounge and its a certified Eco friendly restaurant. It was so yummy too!
After we grubbed down, we went back to their place, said our goodbyes and trekked on home. I was so sad to leave them. I missed them as soon as I turned on the ignition. Hopefully I'll get to see them soon during the holidays. I'm glad my mom and I went we had such a memorable time!
I wasn't even home for 10 minutes, Andrew was so excited that I was home and wanted to take me to this new donut shop that opened up called Sugar Twists. But first he was hungry so he took us out to dinner at Singha Thai.
Then we went to Sugar Twist.
And they had a donut bar!
You start off with a plain donut and you can add different toppings, glazes and frosting. It was too much for me so I just let Andrew do his thing. He was very proud of his creation.
