I woke up around 10am from the Black Friday ruckus and everyone was awake. I asked my Brother if there was an Apple store close by and he said yes, we'll go there before we go grocery shopping because Mom hasn't been to Fashion Valley (which is this really nice outdoor mall my Brother used to take me when I'd come visit during my college days). Totally forgot it was still Black Friday and what not. When we got there, we got trapped in vicious traffic. It was a mess. Parking was horrendous. Cars were even double parked under the freeway underpass. It was ridiculous. There were even Occupy San Diego protesters rallying on the sidewalks. It was just nightmarish so we just headed for the exit.
We took off to 99 Ranch Market which is this huge Asian grocery store. We helped my Mom find all the ingredients she needed and browsed around, of course. My Brother ended up buying 2 whole fried Tilapia to go along with the rest of the dishes. Kenzi and I just messed around the whole time. Probably should have behaved myself but I couldn't help it. We were running up and down the aisles, poking all the different kinds of gelatinous desserts (which we shouldn't have because Kenzi ended up poking a hole through the plastic wrapping in one of them), played a little hide and go seek, and we were just a couple of crazy cats.
Milli was being quite silly too.
On our way home, everyone was getting hungry so we stopped by this Vietnamese restaurant to get some eggrolls. I just couldn't believe how much food we were getting, haha. After stuffing ourselves for Thanksgiving, we were going to do it again Filipino style.
My Mom started cooking as soon as we entered the door. Monica tried to get some rest while me and the nieces played with Photobooth again, this time with the effects. They were laughing so hard everytime we took a picture. Their laughs are so infectious. We were just laughing and being silly the whole time.
Kenzi tagged along with Grandma to go check on the food and ended up helping her stir the soup.
It was super cute. My Mom then got the Tilapia ready and fed some to my nieces. I think it was their first time having fried Tilapia because they were apprehensive about trying it but once they did, they loved it and they they yelled out, "Chicken!"

Then I had my Ma join them.

Kenzi also got a hold of my camera. Here are some of the pictures she took:
She took a picture of my boob. She thought this was so hilarious, btw.
Then it was bedtime for both.
After we ate, we just hung out and waited for Mike D to arrive. When he did, it was really cool. It was like the 3 amigos were back together again. We had pretty deep conversations, messed around with the Photo apps on my iPad, played Fact or Crap, danced along to Beyonce's Run the World, Love On Top, and Move Your Body music videos and drank beer and took shots, of course.
I wanted to see what the bar down the street turned into. It used to be called the Beauty Bar where they played shows and played awesome dance music. Seriously, nothing but a non stop dance party every time we go. It was a pretty cool lookin' bar inside too. It used to be a salon, so they left all the hair drying seats in there and had awesome big black and white checkered flooring. Definitely a bar I always look forward to going to whenever I visit. Now it's called Til 2 and I guess its where all the fixie kids hang out. Me and Mike D ended up going anyway even though we knew we only had about 20 min to dance. My Bro didn't feel like going so he stayed. There was probably only 3 people dancing and a handful of people hanging out in the booths finishing their drinks. So we danced like we never danced before and then they closed it down. But we weren't done. We ended up walking down the street to The Tower Bar where Andrew and I attended a show there a while back. As soon as Mike D grabbed the handle we heard "shick." They locked the door. So instead of walking back home he decided we go on a mini adventure so we took a cab ride down the street to another bar he usually goes to. That was closed too but it looked pretty cool. We had the cab driver drop us off at the closest 711 by my Bros place. We got hot chocolate and chips and walked the rest of the way home. Mike D was trying to take some pretty cool night shots on his iPhone. When we got back, my bro ended up putting on a movie, watched a little bit and then went to sleep. Thanks Mike D for the mini adventure! And thank you Both for the deep, interesting conversations and discussions (you guys definitely made my brain work that night haha), making me laugh until my face hurt, and for the silly fun we always have!
