Priscilla almost photo bombed this picture. It think that's her shadow creeping up on the far left haha!
Last Sunday, we went on our traditional pumpkin hunting trip. I'm so glad we've been keeping these traditions alive. This is our third year in a row going to Murray's in search for a pumpkin for Pumpkin Carving night with the girls and it never gets old. Well, the first year was more like our first attempt haha =) I remember that day we both got off of work early and drove straight to Murray's only to be turned away. One of the mazes caught on fire and they had to shut the farm down. Anyway, we always have a fun time here. I just wish that we could go to the actual patch and pick the pumpkins ourselves right from the vine! Oh well! Plus, it's always a treat to see Andrew excited to see the animals (they gravitate to him for some reason in the most funniest way)! There were so many people that day! They also had an Elvis impersonator who was very....loud. We also saw our friends Priscilla and Arturo and their baby, Joaquin who wore the cutest skeleton onsie!
Last year we didn't do the mazes because we came pretty late. I thought I wanted to do the mazes this time, but there were so many people and the entrance fee was kind of too much. I think if I was a kid, it would be worth it.
I was surprised we found our pumpkins pretty fast this time. I have a habit of being indecisive and always wanting a really huge pumpkin. This year, I picked a small/medium size one. I also brought home some butterscotch root beer and baked vegetable chips (which were super yummy)!
Before we headed home, of course, we checked out the petting zoo. There weren't very many animals this year, so we didn't spend a whole lot of time in there.
This goat followed Andrew around.
Turns out the goat's name was Captain Jack Harkness!
Little pony with a fly mask on.
This little guy's mannerisms reminded me of Ptolemy.
Last one for the road!
