boom-boom: Stuff that Happened in February

The first weekend of February my girl cousins came up to visit me which was so much fun. I think the last time we hung out for a whole weekend just the three of us was Shei's bachelorette so this was a long time coming!

I love that Maricar loves Jasper as much as we do, haha. She's always excited to see him and hold him.

Mama came to visit the next morning after church.

We visited with Tatang before they left. It took us a while to refresh his memory but he eventually remembered who they were.

The start of our baby registry. Never fails. Taylor Swift comes on and he busts out in song in dance. We had to cut it short because Andrew got sick.

Jasper roaming around. He's getting comfortable exploring the house more. We usually lay out a towel for him that he'll chill on the whole time, but now he'll travel from the bedroom to his cage back and forth.

I was attacked by the worst sinuses and allergies. I was miserable for a whole week and a half blah!

Second weekend of February, Scott and Ashley had a pancake party. He made these cinnamon swirl pancakes and they were bomb!

February 13th, Andrew surprised me with beautiful flowers and a big ass Hello Kitty! I melted! He got these flowers from Amanda and she always does the best job! I made him a funny card (I photoshopped his face on a wrestler and wrote him a silly note) and got him a rudy pie from Happy Jacks.

We've been trying to keep Ptolemy from sleeping on the bed but then he gives looks like this one and he ends up winning. But he's been pretty good about staying off the bed while we're awake. He waits until he hears us snoring and then he jumps on the bed (with catlike/ninja precision).

Valentine's Day breakfast. Which is pretty much ordinary breakfast for us haha.

We went to WWE Live! at Rabobank and he was so happy. I fell asleep a couple of matches and so did he (bunch of oldies over here!) but it was pretty fun. This time we sat by families and little kids so we enjoyed our time. Last time we sat by drunk grown up assholes that kept screaming stupid shit in our ear. It was horrible. We also sat by a monotone heckler. It was the funniest thing ever. Imagine the Clear Eyes guy cheering for his favorite wrestler. That was him. Whenever he didn't like someone, he'd say, "I hate you." I dunno haha, I guess you had to be there.

Grandma came to visit to see if she could fix our dryer. We've had it for over 8 years and who knows how long the previous owner had it. We ended up buy a new one.

These were the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies I have ever made. I brought a whole batch to work and they were gone before lunch time.

February 20th, we joined the Ascensions and their families to celebrate Alex's birthday at Temblor. Yaay!

Probably hard to see but here's Girl Alex doing my 4D ultrasound with my Mama. She got some good pictures of her before she started hiding her face with her hands and her feet, haha! I loved watching baby girl on the big screen. We got to see her yawn and smile and the whole experienced melted my heart and filled me with so many emotions!

The weather has been so nice that we've been having our coffee in the backyard again. We let the animals run around while Andrew grooms them and it's just a nice way to soak up some morning sun and breathe in some fresh air before the start of a new day.
