Sunday, September 16th, the day before my birthday, my parents came over for dinner. My Dad requested spaghetti and so I slow cooked my spaghetti sauce recipe for 6 hours. I also prepared a warm spinach salad for appetizer. Everything was super yummy. We watched The Avengers while we ate and then my Brother called me from Palmdale (he was visiting with family). He said he was going to call me on Facetime. When I answered, all my family in Palmdale got together and sang Happy Birthday to me! It was such a nice surprise! When dinner was over, we did a mini cake and my Dad watch Andrew make coffee. It was the first time my Dad has seen a pourover so he was very intrigued and he LOVED it! When they left, Boo and I called it an early night. Couldn't wait to go to Long Beach to celebrate on my actual birthday!
